Our Nursery fees
From April 2025
- Single session rate babies and children under 2 years; £34.50. Full day rate is £58.00.
- Single session rate for children 2 years and over £33.00. Full day rate is £55.00.
We operate two sessions per day 8am – 1pm and 1pm – 6pm.
Please note all fees are payable on or before the 1st day of each month and are charged one month in advance.
To secure your booking you will be asked pay £100.00 reservation fee, this is deducted from your last nursery invoice and returned to you when your child leaves the nursery.
When can I take up my free childcare?
15 hours of Free childcare and education is available for some children the term after a childs 2nd birthday (eligibility criteria applies)
From September 2025 some children of working parents could be entitled to receive 30 hours Term Time free childcare and education at the start of term after they turn 9 months.; Contact the nursery manager who will help you find out whether your child is eligible.
Every child aged three or four years is entitled to at least 15 hours of free early education and childcare. You can access these hours the term after your child turns 3 years of age.

You may be eligible for financial assistance with your fees as there are a number of schemes to help parents and carers with childcare tools.
15 hours entitlement for 2,3 & 4 year olds
Some 2 year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free childcare 38 weeks per year. The free entitlement begins the term after their 2nd birthday.
All children aged 3 & 4 years are entitled to 15 hours of free childcare from the term following the child's 3rd birthday.30 hours entitlements for children of working parents 9 months plus

From September 2025 some children from 9months plus will be eligible to access 30 hours of free education and childcare. If you are earning at least the equivalent of 16 hours per week at National Minimum Wage and under £100,000.00 per annum you may be entitled to this free care.

Help with childcare costs
There are many ways of getting help to pay your childcare costs, more information can be found on HM Revenue and Customs Tax Credit website www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxcredits or call helpline 0345 3003900.
If you work for Newcastle City Council you can opt to pay for your full childcare costs by sacrificing some of your salary. This means the amount is exempt from Tax and national Insurance contributions. If you require more information please speak to the nursery manager.
