Each of our nurseries sits within its own large grounds and provides a fantastic range of indoor and outdoor play experiences.

All of our nurseries are spacious and benefit from a high level of natural day light allowing the feel of the nursery to be bright and airy.

Castle nurseries are well furnished and have an extensive range of high specification resources to support children’s learning both indoors and out.  Each of the nurseries have spacious play areas with adjoining toilet and rest facilities.

All our nurseries offer free flow play to and from the outdoors, with specialist areas on offer for the children to explore such as forestry, planting and growing.

Breast feeding is welcome throughout all our nurseries and a range of facilities are available for you to use for your convenience. 

Outstanding Outdoors

Spending time in the outdoors is vital to children’s health and wellbeing, this is why here at Castle nurseries we ensure all children get to enjoy fabulous experiences in the Great Outdoors.

At Castle Nurseries we have beautiful outdoor spaces which we enjoy every day!

All of our settings provide natural and exciting outdoor environments incorporating elements of learning from the vision of Forestry Schools. Children are supported and encouraged to explore their natural surroundings, play with natural resources and use their imagination to create an abundance of exciting play opportunities.  Children are able to master their physical skills through a combination of fun and challenging activities, developing their knowledge and curiosity of the world around them.

In partnership with education partners our nursery staff recently led on Newcastle City’s Outstanding Outdoors project.  The workforce have recently undertaken training in the most recent research in outdoor leaning in the early years and ensure every child is able to access and benefit from a high quality outdoor play.. 

All our outdoor environments are safe and secure providing high quality play and learning opportunities for all age groups.
